Marsland Engineering Ltd was one of the earliest high tech companies in Waterloo Region. Specializing in radio technology and electronics, it was for a time Waterloo’s largest industrial employer and Canada’s largest privately owned electronics manufacturer.
Marsland Engineering became a major supplier to such companies as Northern Electric and IBM before the company was sold in 1969.
